Dr Ben Daniels
Read Biography
Dr Benjamin Daniel is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, a consultant Dermatologist at St Vincentʼs Hospital and the Western Hospital.
He did a 2 year pre-dermatology research fellowship in autoimmune blistering diseases alongside his masters of medicine for which he received honours for his thesis. During his dermatology training he has worked at various hospitals in Melbourne including the Alfred Hospital, Victorian Melanoma Service, Peter MacCallum Cancer Hospital and the Royal Childrenʼs Hospital, as well as the National Skin Centre in Singapore.
Dr Daniel has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and presented at both local and international conferences. He has also written book chapters on common skin conditions. He was awarded the Harvey Rotstein Award for academic excellence, collegiality and professionalism through the registrar training. He has a particular interest in eczema, psoriasis, acne, autoimmune blistering diseases, pigment disorders and skin cancer management.
Professor Ncoza Dlova

Prof Ncoza Dlova, is the Head of Dermatology, Full Professor and the immediate past Dean of the School of Clinical Medicine (SCM), UKZN, Durban, South Africa. She has many accolades and leadership awards behind her name and is the first African Medical School Dean in the 73yrs of the school.
She is a well published dermatologist with an interest in Ethnic skin and Hair, Global Health, HIV and Skin. She has more than 135 scientific publications, and is a “B” National Research Foundation( NRF) rated researcher, which speaks to her impactful research which is recognised both locally and internationally and is the most published dermatologist in her country.
Associate Professor Peter Foley

Associate Professor Peter Foley is the Director of Research at the Skin Health Institute and the Head of Dermatology Research at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor, Department of Medicine at The University of Melbourne. He is a visiting medical officer to the Photobiology, Dermatology Biologics, and Dermatology Investigation clinics at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and the Phototherapy, Atopic Dermatitis, and Psoriasis Advanced Targeted Therapies clinics at the Skin Health Institute.
He has been an investigator in over 170 clinical trials and has over 170 published manuscripts.
Associate Professor Foley is Australia’s only councilor on the International Psoriasis Council (IPC), is a founding member of the Australasian Psoriasis Collaboration, is co-convener of the Australasian Dermatology Registry, is co-convenor, Australian Psoriasis Treatment Goals, is chair of the steering committee for the Pillars of Dermatology Practice Symposium, is a former steering committee member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA).
Dr Ahmed Kazmi

Dr Ahmed Kazmi MRCP FACD is a Melbourne based dermatologist and clinical senior lecturer with a special interest in alopecia and inclusive dermatology. He is a passionate medical educationalist. He is excited to speak to the trainees about the important topic of optimising communication skills and developing skills for complex consultations.
Associate Professor Michelle Rodrigues

A/Prof. Michelle Rodrigues, MBBS (Hons), FACD is a Melbourne-based dermatologist with over a decade of clinical experience. She completed her medical degree with honours at Monash University, followed by specialist dermatology training across leading tertiary hospitals in Melbourne, including a placement at the National Skin Centre in Singapore.
She was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ Founders Medal for achieving the highest aggregate results in the national procedural dermatology examinations and received an international scholarship from the American Academy of Dermatology.
A/Prof. Rodrigues has a strong interest in pigment disorders, laser dermatology and skin of colour, and has undertaken advanced training at centres of excellence worldwide. She works across both public and private practice in Melbourne, holds consultant appointments at St Vincent’s and the Royal Children’s Hospitals, and is co-founder of Australia’s first multidisciplinary vitiligo clinic.
