We look forward to welcoming you to the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) 56th Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 from 11 to 13 May in Perth, Australia.
Make the most of your ASM experience by reviewing the pre-arrival information below.
VENUE
The ACD ASM will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6000.
HOW TO GET TO THE PERTH CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE
The PCEC is conveniently located close to Elizabeth Quay. This location provides quick and easy access by car, train, bus or taxi.

REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION DESK
The Registration Desk will be located in the Central Foyer on Level 2 of PCEC and will be open during the following times:
Friday 10 May: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday 11 May: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday 12 May: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Monday 13 May: 7:30 am – 1:30 pm
On arrival, you will be able to print your name badge during the times listed above, using the QR code emailed to you. Friendly staff will be on hand during the opening hours, to answer your questions and provide information about the meeting, venue and surrounds.
Delegates are required to wear their name badge at all times. Uniformed security will be in position at the doors of the exhibition area. Delegates without a name badge will not be able to access the exhibition area.

Delegates will access The ACD ASM app by downloading the Think Business Events Portal by using the below instructions:
- Search your app store for ‘Think Business Events’
- Enter Event Code: ACDASM2024
- To log in, please use your email address and enter the password ACDASM2024
- Once you have logged in, you’ll be prompted to create a new personal password and set your privacy and messaging settings.
- Go to ‘My event’ to update your profile in Account Settings.

ON-DEMAND CONTENT
Recordings of the meeting sessions will be made available two weeks after the ASM concludes and an email to the platform link will be sent out. This content will be available for 6 months.

- 11th Annual Patch Test Training Day (will only be available to those who are registered for this Training Day)
- ADNA sessions (for those who have an ADNA registration)

Saturday 11 May
Poster Viewing Wine & Cheese
Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Venue: Exhibition Hall, PCEC
Join us for some light refreshments and view the posters displayed in the Exhibition Hall. This is your chance to chat with the authors who will be standing by their poster.
College Dinner
Time: 7:00pm – 11:00pm
Venue: Fraser’s Kings Park, 60 Fraser Ave, Kings Park
Dress: Cocktail
Admission: Pre-booked tickets only, Limited tickets may still be available to purchase.
Buses will be provided to transport delegates to and from Fraser’s, starting from the PCEC at 6:40pm.
Sunday 12 May
The Conferring of Fellowship and Awards
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Venue: Level 2, Riverside Theatre, PCEC
Dress: Academic Dress or lounge suit
Light refreshments and drinks will be available.
Senior & Retired Fellows Mixer
Time: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Venue: Liberty Bar and Café, PCEC
Dress: Casual
Light refreshments and drinks will be available.
WI-FI INTERNET
To access PCEC wireless internet, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Ensure your wireless-enabled device is turned on and you have enabled the wireless switch/button.
- Open your wireless connection list.
- Wi-Fi network: wifiTYKet

PARENTS AND CARERS ROOM
The College will be providing a designated space for attendees bringing babies and infants to the ASM. This private space will be available from Friday 10 May until the end of sessions on Monday 13 May.
Parents or carers joining us onsite who are not registrants will be invited to collect a day pass from our registration desk so they are able to move around the ASM space.

PRAYER ROOM
A prayer room will be available for the duration of the ASM near the Vocus Suite located on Level 1 of PCEC.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Did you tell us about your dietary requirements? If you are unable to select appropriate food from the catering buffets, please notify the catering floor staff and they will direct you to the Special Diets Buffet in the exhibition hall. Please note that the dishes on the main buffet will be labelled with standard gluten-free and vegetarian.
WATER BOTTLES
Conferences can create large amounts of waste however by offering water stations instead of plastic bottled water we can reduce landfill waste, save energy, and enjoy the most sustainable option for our environment. We encourage all delegates to bring their own water bottles to use throughout the meeting.
