Dr Leong Kin Fon is a consultant paediatric dermatologist from General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He is the president of Malaysia eczema society, DEBRA Malaysia , chairman of academy of medicine, dermatology chapter.

Dr Leong has been active in medical research, and has presented in numerous local and international conferences. Dr Leong has also authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and books; among which include The Faces of Atopic Eczema among Malaysian Children and the Atlas of Paediatric Diseases series. Dr Leong is the president of the Malaysian Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association (DEBRA Malaysia) since 2013 , malaysia eczema society 2020 and he actively volunteers with various national & international humanitarian organizations such as MERCY, TIMA and Medecen San Frontier. 

Dr Leong has special interest in eczema, acne, psoriasis, birthmarks, portwine stain, nevus of Ota hemangioma, vascular lesions and common skin problems in children, adolescent and young adults *

Dr Sumaira Aasi

Sumaira Z. Aasi, M.D., is a Professor of Dermatology and Director of Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery.  Dr. Aasi completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at Yale University where she was on faculty and served as Associate Chief.  Dr. Aasi served on the board of directors for the American College of Mohs Surgery and is currently president of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Aasi has written a textbook on skin cancers, Atlas of Practical Mohs Histopathology, used worldwide in Mohs surgery training programs.  Her clinical interests include management of high risk nonmelanoma skin cancers, Mohs histopathology, and reconstructive surgery.

Dr Lisa Abbott

Dr Lisa Abbott is a Dermatologist and has previously practiced as a barrister, with a focus on medical negligence and disciplinary proceedings. Lisa has a keen interest in the intersection between medicine, law and technology, and the ways in which artificial intelligence could contribute to the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Professor Gareth Baynam is the Medical Director of the Rare Care Centre and its state-wide clinical service based as the Perth Children’s Hospital; Head of the Western Australian Register of Developmental Anomalies (birth defects and cerebral palsy registers); Clinical Geneticist and Program Director of the Undiagnosed Diseases Program WA; Foundation Board Member of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International; and Adjunct Genomics Policy Officer in the Western Australian Health Department. He is affiliated with the University of Western Australia; Curtin University; Murdoch University; Notre Dame University; Melbourne University; and Telethon Kids Institute. He is the Founder of an integrated suite of cross-sector and community engaging initiatives to improve the lives of people living with rare diseases including Project Y, Cliniface (3D facial analysis for rare diseases diagnosis, clinical trials and device design) and Lyfe Languages (Universal Indigenous Medical Translator). He has partnered with the Aboriginal health care leaders and communities in WA over more than a decade to implement a range of state-wide initiatives to improve the equity for Indigenous people living with rare diseases. He Chairs and/or is one of the Executive or Advisories of multiple international rare diseases initiatives; and multiple National Institutes of Health in Europe, North America and Asia. Professor Asha Bowen

Professor Asha Bowen is a clinician scientist working across the Perth Children’s Hospital as a paediatric infectious disease specialist and the Telethon Kids Institute as Head of the Healthy Skin and ARF Prevention Team. Asha and her team recently launched the second edition of the National Healthy Skin Guidelines to guide clinicians in the recognition and evidence-based treatment of skin infections. Asha has more than 10 years’ experience leading infectious diseases research and investigator-initiated clinical trials focused on issues significant to Aboriginal child health and ARF prevention.

Aaron Boyce is the Head of Dermatology at the Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide and Dermatology Staff Specialist at Townsville University Hospital. He is an Associate Professor at James Cook University Medical School and is a keen contributor to medical education for dermatology registrars and pre-vocational doctors.

He has a subspecialty interest in the management of inflammatory dermatoses in both adults and children and has completed post-graduate followship in Paediatric Dermatology and Genodermatoses at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. She leads her team in providing support to research teams, cultural awareness training and building responsiveness and understanding of Telethon Kids research involving Aboriginal communities across the state. Dr. Lisa Byrom, BPhty, MB BS, MPhil, FACD, is a Specialist Dermatologist based in Queensland and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, she furthered her studies, earning a Master of Philosophy for her thesis on “The influence of pregnancy, parity, and sex on melanoma prognosis.”

Dr. Byrom specializes in acne management, pregnancy-associated skin conditions, autoimmune diseases, and skin cancer detection and treatment. She practices privately in Brisbane and serves as a Visiting Medical Officer at Mater Hospital Brisbane. Currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine, Dr. Byrom actively educates Dermatology Registrars and General Practitioners and holds the role of Supervisor of Training for Dermatology at Mater Hospital Brisbane.

With a keen interest in adult-onset acne, Dr. Byrom co-chairs the All About Acne group, advocating a holistic approach. Her extensive research is showcased in over 30 peer-reviewed publications, and she serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals. Recognized with the College Citation from the Australasian College of Dermatologists, she received awards such as the UQDI Clinician-Researcher Scholarship and the AMA Queensland Presidents Award for her substantial contributions. Dr. Byrom has been an invited speaker at international conferences, including the World Congress of Dermatology.

Associate Professor Liam Caffery is a health informatics research fellow at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He has a particular interest in dermatology informatics. He is the technology lead for the Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging and Diagnosis. He developed the telehealth practice guidelines and the position statement for the use of AI in dermatology for the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Helena Collgros

Dr Helena Collgros is a Dermatologist working at Perth Dermatology Clinic and Day Hospital. She recently became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologist after completing 12 months upskilling during 2023. Previously, Dr Collgros worked for  6 years at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, attending patients at high risk for developing melanoma and skin cancer, including performing reflectance confocal microscopy and managing the High-Risk Melanoma Clinic (2016-2022). She obtained a Bachelor in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed her Dermatology and Venereology specialization in Barcelona in 2014. Afterwards, she worked as a Dermatologist at the public university hospital Germans Trias i Pujol in Barcelona (2014-2016). Her fields of expertise and research interests include pigmented lesions, melanoma, skin cancer and imaging techniques. She has authored and co-authored more than 35 publications in National and International Journals, mainly in the field of Oncodermatology and imaging techniques.

Sarah Dunlop, PhD is Professor Emeritus (University of Western Australia). Her medical research career focused on brain development as well as recovery following chemical and physical injury to the adult brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system in animal models and humans, including a number of randomised controlled trials Publications. She joined Minderoo Foundation in 2020, to establish Plastics & Human Health. Our vision is to eliminate the harmful effects of plastic pollution by understanding the impact of plastic exposure during production use and disposal, on human health and inform policy, including the United Nations Global Plastic Treaty. She leads the Foundation’s scientific research on synthesising the evidence for harm, and delivery of world-leading research where critical evidence is lacking. This includes Minderoo Centre – Plastics & Human Health at the University of Queensland to ensure accurate and contamination-free measurement of nanoplastic particles and plastic-associated chemicals in human tissue matrices and the Plastics Exposure Reduction Transforms Health (PERTH) randomised controlled clinical trial  at UWA. Sarah has held a number of senior roles including: Accorded Status, Royal Perth Hospital; Director, Spinal Cord Injury Network; President, Australian Neuroscience Society; President, Federation of Australasian & Oceanian Neuroscience Societies.

Dr Haady Fallah

Dr Fallah is dermatologist based in Sydney. Since 2018, Dr Fallah has run a dedicated Acne Clinic at the Skin Hospital, Sydney, NSW. He is a published author on the subject of acne in several international peer reviewed journals. Dr Fallah is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is Supervisor of Training at Concord Hospital. He holds a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) degree from the University of Sydney and has served on the Editorial Board of the Australasian Journal of Dermatology since 2014.

Professor Gayle Fischer

Gayle Fischer is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Sydney Medical School Northern, a campus of the University of Sydney Medical School. She is Head of the Department of Dermatology at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney, where she also conducts subspecialty clinics in paediatric and female genital dermatology, as well as a consultation service to the adult and paediatric departments of the hospital. She has a private practice specialising in paediatric and vulval dermatology.

She holds a senior doctorate (Doctor of Medicine) from the University of Sydney for her thesis “Vulval Disease in adults and children.”

She has a 35-year career in researching and publishing on the subject of vulval disease and paediatric dermatology and is the author of over 200 research articles and chapters in peer reviewed journals and textbooks. She is the co-author of a Textbook, The Vulva: A Clinician’s Practical Handbook and a patient-focussed website, CareDownThere. She has been awarded prizes for her work in Australia and internationally.

Her paediatric research interests are vulval disease, paediatric psoriasis and corticosteroid phobia. In the genital field her research interests are lichen sclerosus, chronic vulvovaginal candidiasis, mucosal lichen planus and quality of life in vulval diseases. She also has a strong interest in medical education with a focus on online teaching resources.

She currently the chair of the Annual Scientific Committee of the Australasian College of Dermatology and has previously been their Chief Examiner and Dean of Education. She was awarded the OAM in 2017 for services to medicine and The Silver Medal of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2018 for her contribution to Australian Dermatology.

 

Dr Anina Fitzgibbon

Dr Anina Fitzgibbon completed her medical training, specialist training in dermatology and allergology, and her PhD in Finland, prior to moving to Australia. She became a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2008, and has been practicing in Melbourne since.  Dr Fitzgibbon works in private practice and as a member of the patch testing team at the Skin Health Institute, Victoria. Her focus is on all aspects of general dermatology, in particular inflammatory skin diseases, patient education and contact dermatitis.

 

Dr Rachael Foster

Rachael Foster is a Dermatologist practising in the public and private system in Western Australia. She has a special interest in Paediatric and Vulvar Dermatology and contributes to the skin microbiome research group at the Telethon Kids institute. Associate Professor John Frew

A/Prof Frew is a clinical dermatologist and Director of Research at The Skin Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He is a conjoint associate professor of dermatology at the University of New South Wales and is the current editor in chief of the Australasian Journal of Dermatology. He currently holds a clinical appointment at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, Australia and is Head of the Laboratory of Translational Cutaneous Medicine at the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research. A/Prof Frew has authored over 130 peer-reviewed articles and has a special interest in the pathogenesis and molecular mechanisms of inflammatory dermatoses.

 

Dr Adam Gajdatsy

Dr Adam Gajdatsy completed medical training at the University of Leeds in the UK in 1991, graduating first in Leeds in 1988 with an honours degree in physiology. Adam was admitted into the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK as a Member in 1994, arriving in Australia in 1995. After Australian Medical Council accreditation that year, Adam went on to commence training in ophthalmology in Perth in 1999, being admitted into the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2002 as a Fellow.

Adam then underwent post fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic surgery in Cardiff, UK and in London at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital. He returned to practice in Perth in 2005.

Adam has been in private practice at the Lions Eye Institute since 2006, working in both the Nedlands and the Murdoch clinics. Adam has worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 2005 as a consultant ophthalmic surgeon, leading the oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital clinic at the department of ophthalmology there since that time. He has served as Head of Department at SCGH. Adam has served in several roles within the College of Ophthalmologists, including Director of Training (WA). He also served as the coordinator of ophthalmology teaching at the University of Western Australia from 2005 to 2015. Adam has served on the executive board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons, serving as the society President recently.

 

Associate Professor Kurt Gebauer

Cl.A/Prof. Kurt Gebauer graduated from the University of Western Australia with an MBBS in 1985, Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists awarded in 1991, a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Phlebology in 2001 and he was conferred Clinical Associate Professor in Dermatology April 2008.

Cl.A/Prof. Gebauer works in a private Dermatology practice. He is accredited to several Private Hospitals in Perth, is a member of numerous Medical Societies including the Australasian College of Dermatologists, American Academy of Dermatology, International Society of Dermatology, Sclerotherapy Society of Australia, Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology and holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine issued by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Other appointments include Censor for the Final Fellowship Examinations of the Australasian College, assisting Lions Cancer Institute with rural skin cancer screenings, travelling to rural areas to participate in upskilling programs for rural General Practitioners. He provides a weekly service to nursing homes and to incapacitated patients.

Cl. A/Prof. Gebauer has participated in Australian and International clinical trials with interests in acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Alopecia Areata.  He has lectured at Dermatology conferences throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East and South Africa.

 

Professor Elin Gray

Professor Elin Gray is the Head of the Melanoma Research Group and Blood-based Cancer Biomarkers Study, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Precision Health at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia. Elin completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Havana, Cuba, and obtained her PhD degree at University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. She was a visiting Fogarty Fellow at the Vaccine Research Centre at the NIH, Maryland; and at Duke University, North Carolina, USA. Since moving to Perth in 2011, her research has focused on the development of non-invasive blood-based biomarkers for clinical application, including early detection, risk stratification and disease monitoring for melanoma management.

 

Dr Todd Gunson

Todd Gunson is a Dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, practicing in Auckland.  After training in New Zealand and the UK, he spent several years in Western Australia, during which time he completed his American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship in Perth.  Leisure time is often spent boating on the beautiful Hauraki Gulf, where he has a keen interest in supporting marine conservation.

 

Dr Aakriti Gupta

Dr Aakriti Gupta is an Australian-trained Dermatologist who graduated from the University of Adelaide with the University Medal for highest overall performance in Medicine. She subsequently undertook her speciality Dermatology training in Adelaide and was awarded a Travelling Fellowship to complete a year of her training in Oxford, UK. She has co-authored book chapters pertaining to the use of botulinum toxin in Dermatology and aesthetic facial assessment, and has multiple peer-reviewed publications in medical education and cutaneous oncology. She is currently a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists.

 

Dr Somesh Gupta

Dr. Somesh Gupta is a Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has about 350 publications in his name, and edited five books. His main areas of interest are Vitiligo, Procedural Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Infections and General Dermatology. He is a Director of Dermatology and Surgery International League (DASIL) and Member of WHO expert group on STI guidelines. He has travelled over 40 countries for academic purposes.

Professor Janda trained as a health psychologist and is a behavioural scientist with a research background in cancer prevention, early detection and quality of life research. Professor Janda is dedicated to developing consumer-centred digital health interventions aimed at enhancing the ease and effectiveness of cancer diagnosis and self-management.

 

Dr Marjia Johns

Dr Johns graduated from Western Sydney University as a Deans Merit List Recipient in 2015 before going on to undertake General Practice training, obtaining her fellowship of the RACGP in 2022. She currently works in Sydney as a General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Johns has also undertaken additional training in paediatrics, sexual and reproductive health, as well as mental health. Professor Veronica Kinsler

Veronica Kinsler is Professor of Paediatric Dermatology and Dermatogenetics at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children and UCL, and Principal Group Leader of the Mosaicism and Precision Medicine laboratory at the Francis Crick Institute in London. She also holds a UK National Institute of Health Research Research Professorship.  She trained in medicine at Cambridge, paediatrics and paediatric dermatology in London, molecular genetics at UCL, and worked part-time for 15 years to look after her family. Clinical work is focused on rare paediatric skin conditions, in particular mosaic and/or pigmentary disorders. Dr Russell Knudsen

Russell Knudsen has been practicing hair replacement surgery for 40 years. He practices in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne in Australia, and in Auckland New Zealand.

He is a Past-President of both the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM) and of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He has been awarded the Gold Follicle Award from the ISHRS for clinical and teaching contributions and the Manfred Lucas Lifetime Achievement Award from the ISHRS.

Dr Prasad Kumarasinghe is currently a Consultant Dermatologist at Western Dermatology, and a Clinical Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Western Australia and an Adjunct Professor at Murdoch University in WA. Previously he worked as a Senior Consultant at the National Skin Centre in Singapore, and in Sri Lanka. He was a pioneer in establishing the Pigmentary Disorders Subspecialty at the National Skin Centre in Singapore.

Prof Kumarasinghe has published over 100 scientific papers and has delivered guest lectures in many parts of the world including the World Congress of Dermatology and International Congress of Dermatology. He edited the popular book on Pigmentary Disorders published in 2018 by Springer. He has also written several chapters in dermatology textbooks.

He was the Founder President of the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research and the Vitiligo Association of Australia. He served as a Director of the International Society of Dermatology for several years. He is on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Journal of Dermatology. He is the Founder and the current Chairman of the Perth Dermatology Research Collaborative in Western Australia.

Dr Peter Lau is a medical oncology clinician-scientist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Linear Clinical Research and translational research fellow in the Melanoma Discovery Laboratory at Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research. Previously he was appointed as a medical oncologist in the Melanoma and Skin Service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from 2015-2020. As part of his PhD, he led studies in melanoma brain metastases and was instrumental in conceiving the CHARLI multicentre study investigating the addition of denosumab with immune checkpoint inhibitors in melanoma that was presented at ASCO 2023. Peter is a principal investigator of multiple melanoma and phase I trials with over 25 peer reviewed articles in journals including Journal for Immunotherapy for Cancer, European Journal of Cancer, Nature Communications amongst others. His research interests include investigating macrophages in melanoma and cell therapy for melanoma.

Professionally, Bree holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and after working in private practice for close to two decades, specialising in medical negligence, public liability, and catastrophic injury litigation, she moved into the disability sector and is now the CEO of Sana Living, a Specialist Disability Accommodation Provider.

As a child of Scottish decent, Bree’s pale skin presented several challenges growing up under the Australian sun.  Ever aware of the sun’s impact on her skin, Bree has been a regular consumer of dermatology services since entering adulthood. At the age of 43, Bree was diagnosed with melanoma but will forever be grateful that it was identified and removed while still in its early stages.

Dr Sunny Lee completed his Urology training in Western Australia in 2010, having completed a fellowship at the University Hospitals of Birmingham and North Staffordshire, with special emphasis on laparoscopy and oncology. Upon returning to Perth, he took up a Consultant position at Fremantle and subsequently at Royal Perth Hospital where his subspecialty interests are Urethral Stricture Disease, pre-cancerous conditions of the penis and Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the penis. He has published extensively on urethroplasty, penile cancer and stone disease. He has presented at both State and National Urological Conferences. Dr Lee enjoys working closely with his dermatological colleagues in research and the provision of care for patients with complex dermatological disorders of the penis and external genitalia.

A/Prof McInerney-Leo trained as a genetic counsellor in the UK before moving to the US to conduct clinical research at the National Institutes of Health and lecture at Johns Hopkins University. She is now a research leader within the Dermatology Research Centre at the Fraser Institute at the University of Queensland. Her research aims to democratise access to genetic testing by upskilling clinicians to offer testing and creating educational interventions to empower patients to make informed decisions regarding testing. Specifically, she is focused on making genetic testing for melanoma accessible to everyone who might benefit.

Assoc Professor David Orchard is a Paediatric Dermatologist, graduating from medicine at the University of Melbourne and then completing FACD in Victoria in 1998. He then completed a Fellowship of Paediatric Dermatology in Denver, USA in 2000.

Assoc Professor Orchard is the Head of the Dermatology Department at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and has private rooms at The Royal Children’s Hospital and in Kew. Assoc Professor Orchard is on the Paediatric Committee of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and is an Associate editor of the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.

He has a pivotal role in teaching paediatric Dermatology to both Paediatricians and Dermatology trainees and has authored over 40 papers. Specific interests include eczema management, allergy testing, vascular birthmarks, laser therapy and genodermatoses.

Bernadette Ricciardo is a consultant dermatologist with over 10 years’ experience in the field. She currently works in tertiary hospital and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation settings. She sits on the Australasian College of Dermatologist’s Academic Research Committee and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs Committee, and is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Dr Ricciardo is the recipient of an Australian NHMRC PhD scholarship for her work on the Koolungar (children) Moorditj (strong) Healthy Skin project, the first Aboriginal Elder co-designed research-service study to describe skin health and disease in urban-living Aboriginal children and young people .

Dr. Rodrigues has expertise in pigmentary disorders, skin of colour dermatology and cultural humility in healthcare. She is the founder and director of Chroma Dermatology, Australia’s first dedicated dermatology centre for pigmentary disorders and skin of colour. She is Honorary Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne and holds academic positions at The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Skin Health Institute.

Dr. Rodrigues currently serves as the Secretary General of the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research, is on the Global Medical Advisory for the Global Vitiligo Foundation, co-chairs the national and international relations committee of the Skin of Colour Society and is the Oceania Ambassador for the 26th World Congress of Dermatology.

Dr. Rodrigues has published multiple textbook chapters and over 55 manuscripts in her areas of expertise and is passionate mentoring and teaching.

Dr. Misha Rosenbach is the Paul R. Gross Professor of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as Vice Chair of Education and Program Director of the dermatology residency.  Dr. Rosenbach’s clinical practice is focused on complex medical dermatology and his research is focused primarily on granulomatous diseases. He has published more than 270 peer reviewed articles, multiple chapters, and textbooks, Andrews’ Diseases of the Skin, and serves on the editorial board of JAMA Dermatology. 
Dr. Rosenbach is physician lead of Penn’s climate and sustainability mission and serves as co-Chair of their Committee on the Climate Emergency. Nationally, Dr. Rosenbach is a co-Founder and co-Chair of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Expert Resource Group on Climate Change.

Associate Professor Laura Scardamaglia obtained her FACD in 2004 and received the travelling fellowship award. She is the Head of Dermatology at Western Health, Head of Clinical Services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), consultant dermatologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital, part of the Department of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, and works in private practice in the western suburbs of Melbourne. She is particularly interested in adult and paediatric general and complex medical dermatology, and leads the Immunobullous service, Oral Mucosal service, and Vascular anomalies service at RMH, as well as being clinical lead of the Mastocytosis, Urticaria and Autoimmune Clinics. She also works in specialised eczema, psoriasis and genetics clinics. She is involved in registrar training and is currently a supervisor of training and a national examination censor for the ACD.

She is Co-Director of Complete Skin Specialists which is a large multi doctor private dermatology practice she founded in 2002.

Professor Ingrid Winship AO is a clinician scientist in Clinical Genetics, Cancer Genetics and Genodermatology. She is Chair of Adult Clinical Genetics at the University of Melbourne and Director of Genomic Medicine at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She is also the Group Director of Research for Epworth Healthcare

Her substantive research is in familial cancer, with a focus on prevention through genomics. She is dual trained in clinical genetics and dermatology and has an interest in inherited skin disorders.

Ingrid is a Director of the Boards of the Australian Genome Research Facility, GENESEQ and Global Variome. She is the Chair of the Australian Health Ethics Committee and a member of the Council of the National Health and Medical Research Council.

Professor Winship was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia in 2020 for distinguished service to medicine, particularly to clinical genetics and research, to cancer prevention, and as a role model and mentor.

Benjamin Wood is a Dermatopathologist and Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine with PathWest and The University of Western Australia in Perth, WA. In 2010 he established the PathWest Dermatopathology Group, which now provides a State-Wide public Dermatopathology service in Western Australia, serving all three major teaching hospitals, as well as numerous smaller hospitals and community practitioners.  Professor Wood has over 150 publications in peer reviewed journals, with research interests in melanocytic tumours, cutaneous adnexal tumours, cutaneous lymphoproliferative disease and inflammatory dermatopathology.  He has written multiple textbook chapters, is an author for the WHO Classification of Skin Tumours, a board member of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society and an examiner for the RCPA Post-Fellowship Diploma in Dermatopathology.
