Practice Managers Forum

ACD is delighted to invite practice managers to join us at ICC Sydney for our inaugural networking and professional development opportunity. College recognises the key role of practice managers as operational leaders, decision makers and drivers of change within dermatological practices. It is time for us to build a community to share ideas and experiences.

Is your practice safe from medico-legal risk exposure by your staff? Does your practice manager keep up to date with ongoing professional development? Is your practice manager connected to industry and abreast of constant change in compliance and legislation?

Saturday 27 May 2023
9:00am to 12.00pm
Room C3.2
International Convention Centre, Sydney
Registration: $60 per person
Includes breakfast.

What’s on the agenda?

Hosted by ACD staff member Cathy Baynie, this three hour session is designed to inform and provoke discussion.

The program will open with a facilitated networking session by Cathy where we hope to touch on the issues that keep you awake at night and continue to challenge you in your daily work.  A great way to hear from the entire audience to learn from peers and share with colleagues.

Also joining us will be Karen Castle, a Risk Adviser from Avant Mutual, discussing medico-legal issues from behind the front desk. This includes digital communications such as SMS, WhatsApp, social media, email and others increasing the risk of non-compliance to the code of conduct and privacy. This session will help you understand what processes and training will protect the practice and your staff.
